As much as we try to credit ourselves for our actions, the truth is that there is a degree of influence from others and society in every decision we make. Social norms affect how we behave. For example, it may be appropriate to scream and cheer during a sports game, however, the same behavior would be quite inappropriate at a funeral. Within this section, we will discuss various social factors that influence our daily behaviors. We will end the section with discussion about socialization.
