One of the largest physics topics covered on the MCAT is motion. This section provides extensive coverage about these topics. We will discuss translational motion which introduces vector diagrams. Force, equilibrium, work, and energy are also covered. Lastly, there will be a brief introduction to periodic motion and the calculations involved in such scenarios. This section requires a strong understanding of physics concepts and calculations. It is therefore highly recommended to implement theories to practice questions and build your own equation sheet as you encounter new scenarios.
The contents within this section closely follow the AAMC section: Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems Section: Content Category 4A.
