In the micro scale of all structures are molecules which interact with other molecules. These intermolecular interactions are important to provide the many different properties of substances and compounds throughout the world and our bodies. In this section we discuss the organic chemistry topics of covalent bonding, different intermolecular forces, and the liquid phase. We will also introduce naming concepts which will help you identify compounds.
The contents within this section closely follow the AAMC section: Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems Section: Content Category 5B.
